Grahan Base Camp Site On Trekking

Image
The First Camp Site is the Grahan Camp , when we set for the Sarpass Himalayan Trek . The Route to the Grahan Camp Site is really Senic one and Trecherous too. Its the Longest Trek that we Observed . During the Whole trek there were dense forest cover and the Icy cold water of Parvati River runs beside us. The Trek from the Base Camp at Kasol to the Grahan Village is more full of Dark and Shaddy Paths , as the Huge Green Himalayan Trees cover up the Sun Rays to ulmost nill .

Parvati Valley

Parvati Valley  is situated in the northern  Indian  state of  Himachal Pradesh .   The Parvati Valley runs eastwards from the town of  Bhuntar , in the  Kullu  district of  Himachal Pradesh.  Valley road climbs past a side valley leading to the village of  Malana  and through the backpackers’ haven of  Kasol   .  The road passes through the  Sikh  and  Hindu  pilgrimage town of  Manikaran  and terminates at  Pulga . From Khirganga to the site of Tunda Bhuj (3285m) the Parvati Valley cuts a steep-sided gorge through the mountains and as the altitude increases, the thick, coniferous forest gradually makes way for patches of meadowland scattered with boulders.
